Hey everyone,

here's a reminder to all of you to bring some stuff.

1. bring MONEY. yes, it's very important cos we have to pay for the food and stuff, so don't forget!

2. we need everyone to bring plastic utensils. let's all chip in by bringing a few cups, plates, etc okay?

I don't think we want to waste money buying these stuff 'cos most of us have at home. thank you!

3. can someone volunteer to bring trash bags, ice box, lighters and tongs? thanks!

4. And a reminder to those whom I asked to bring stuff!

very cheap, very sweet, very JUICYYY!

211 PWNS! :D heehee i am really happy and proud of 211! not just because we managed to get into encore night, but how we really came together and worked hard to encourage each other, and help each other forget one's stress so we can perform our best. whether is it for props, lighting, actors, sounds, script-writing. i have to admit i was a bit shocked that we entered encore night through the judges' decision!! it is not because our play was not good, but we just thought we should aim for the audience's choice since our play was a comedy. :D but still, we did it!! WE GOT INTO THE ENCORE NIGHT, whether is it through audience's choice or judges' pick

today's event was rather eventful haha! er it first started with getting of eoys results -_-, then we began to practice our introduction for our drama, and also get changed into our clothes. Then we tried to pei2 yang3 mo4 qi4 and rehearse with our partner(s). really appreciate the fact that some people skipped lunch for the sake of rehearsing for the drama play. TO THESE PEOPLE, ZAI! and please take good care of yourself for encore night k!

also, we had our final full dress rehearsal at the audi. we were a bit disheartened because the rehearsal was screwed :/ some technical errors i think and also the acting was a bit awkward ): yes, but like what someone said, screw the final rehearsal, and you get a perfect actual drama performance. don't know how true it was, but surely was what we wished for.

i also remember that we actually quarrelled over the pizzas tsk! mm i think we a bit de wu liao sometimes to quarrel over pizzas o:, but i think that's what makes us stronger. what doesn't kill us makes us tougher lol.

after eating the pizzas, we quickly put on our make-up. thank you the make-up team for being so patient and gentle towards us. and yal can consider getting such similar job in the future already yah!

continue next time zz... anyways, congrats 211 we did it YAY!

our class blog is really dead, so i have come to revive it :D

firstly, i know everyone is really glad and happy that eoys is finally over, so dajia please try to relax and enjoy our holidays k!

however, secondly we are also reminded of the fact that immediately after eoys, we have to start preparing for dramafest! dramafest frankly speaking is a huge project and has taken a huge toll on everyone. Basically everyone is stressing, the BOSS(directors), the actors, production group, crew etc. But, although we may not be natural actors or our script may not be entirely fantastic, but at least we are trying the best we can! (right? xD) so we shall not be disheartened by other classes' plays but just work harder at ours! this is really our last time working together together, as 211'10. put aside our lsc camp, let's make dramafest the best.

thirdly, this may be slightly tougher but we can try to have FUN and ENJOY the dramafest! o:
so JIAYOU FOR DRAMAFEST ♥ remember we've got the pomeloes :D

at the end of the day, whether we win or not, it is another matter. the main thing is to get our acts together and work better as a class first :D

3. DO NOT DO THE REST!!!!!
4. Dont ever do the rest or you will die horribly.

Here are the groupings for the lsc drama:

Costume: Celeste, Chu Yin , Cheryl Ong, Crystal, Joey Foo, Anabella, Hui Yuan, Jay Mi, Sally, Cassander, Tian Yuan.

Please prepare the costumes , which i will mass message the group. Please note they must be ready by Monday as we need to show a full dress to Mr Ng.

Props and set: Clarissa, Delphine, Cheryl Heng, Wanshi, Hui Lee, Kheng Fang, June, Li Xuan, Hua Yi, Xin Yu, Vivian, Jiayue.

Similarly, please prepare the props and make the set, which i will mass message the group. Again they must be ready by Monday.

Hello all, Bad Mood Kiayee here. Feeling under the weather and stressed, sorry for recent bad moods. Hm, anyway.

Steffi and I are rushing the script madly - I have cut a good 1.5 page.
We will try to email you guys by tomorrow night.
Music Department, I will get the lyrics for you and links for the songs needed. Please practice, and try the harmonizing parts you will hear in one of the video links I will send you. We only have a few verses so don't worry.
PROPS, SET AND COSTUME, please get cracking. Refer to your head of depts/steph/me if you have any questions.
Questions should be settled ASAP.
Oh yeah, please print out the scripts we will be mailing you guys. If you can't print, ask someone to print for you. Still memorise, on the computer screen.
A good part of the script should be memorised by Monday unless you have special reasons.

Laziness will not be tolerated. Even if you do not mind making a fool of yourself in front of Mr Nick Ng, others may, and your actions may affect them. Consider others feelings as well, especially those we have slogged days for this, e.g. steph and i. how would you feel if someone randomly acted a script you worked on for at least 12 good hours, albeit in parts.

Eh Crystal just thought of a very good (but risky) idea.
If we can't get class tees, still remember that we have Dramafest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We can make "Dramafest T-shirts".
Like, director's shirt will have the word "DIRECTOR" at the back.
Cast will have "CAST" at the back. Then of course we write 211 '10 and dramafest2010 all that lah haha.
We can even turn them into JACKETS :D
I don't know whether anyone would agree with the idea. I don't know now thinking about it it's quite stupid lah, but I think this can be back up plan if we can't have a class T shirt. After all, its dramafest tshirt what also not class tshirt lol.

1.Be in class BY 0830 on MON for Pledge taking. Classroom on the second floor which you should know where's 2/11 after replying your angels.

2.MUST bring thermometer(sent out a relay message previously and I think the school did send you an SMS regarding this too, so NEVER forget.)

3.Bring $4 each to pay for printed materials. Anabella to collect and pay the photocopy shop.

4.Has anyone taken the H1N1 vaccine?Need to know on Monday.( I don't know why they need this)

Clarissa here. Obvious?maybe not.

Anyway,I decided to transfer the dedication I made to OneEleven in my blog on Sunday, November 8,2009 since not many elevians go to my blog anyway, okay, some of you also don't visit this too. oh well.

To my dearest, awesome-est, bestest Elevians,

In a flash, one year had passed. Amazingly fast. Through this year, there were moments when I felt angry with you all but, I had a great time. There were times when I laughed so hard. Looking back, you guys were a whole load of fun. Yes, I'm not a great monitor, probably even the worst ever but I liked to thank all of you for giving me a chance to be your monitor. I never knew being a monitor could be so tough but it's worth it. I do get angry when you all don't give responses or when the class work ended up my work. It's okay because I'm doing it for my very own class.We had changed a lot from the past, a class which was once quite unenthusiastic and super un-high especially during class contact time to a class which is pretty enthusiastic. The recent activities like the inter-class competition when we cheered for the handball team or the time we went to Sentosa, building the sand sculptures, even singing the rain song together in hope to chase the rain away which showed unity. To be honest, at the beginning of the year, I dreaded the thought of coming to school, one eleven is way different from six endurance. But now, I really like being a class with all of you. I had a great time and I hope you did too. Thankfully, we have another year ahead together, thankfully, it's not the end. I hope Mdm Lee and Ms Chen will still be our form and co-form teachers. I really like to thank you all for the joy you had brought. From the times when 6 of us cried together to the times we laughed were moments I enjoy.(Not that I enjoy crying ._.) The tears shed, the laughter heard, the memories we share will forever be in our hearts :) Thank you One Eleven, thank you. We had all graduated from Secondary One, Secondary Two will be another busy year, filled with SIA(s) , assignments and tests.Jiayou! I HEART ONE ELEVEN <3 I'm sure you do too :) right? (L)

Atoms

Protons:
Its relative mass is 1.
Its relative electric charge is +1.

Neutrons:
Its relative mass is 1.
Its relative electric charge is 0.

Electrons:
Its relative mass is approx. 0.0005 or 1/1836.
Its relative electric charge is -1.

The nucleus has a positive charge because of its protons.
An atom is electrically neutral, therefore, the number of electrons = the nummber of protons.

The nucleus has a positive charge cos' of its protons. The elctrons are negatively charged. Therefore, they are attracted to the positive nucleus. Because, (+)+(-)= attract! Opposites attract.

THE NUCLIDE NOTATION OF NEUTRAL ATOM
This is pretty important.
Okay, I can't really put the symbols here so you can imagine it with my description.

First, write the ELEMENT SYMBOL on the right hand side.
Then, on the left side of the ELEMENT SYMBOL, for the top left corner, write the MASS NUMBER of the element.
Then, on the bottom left corner, write the ATOMIC NUMBER of the element.
That's the thingy I've been talking about.

MASS NUMBER: The number of NEUTRONS+ the number of PROTONS.
ATOMIC NUMBER: The number of PROTONS.
ELEMENT SYMBOL: The element symbol. (example: Cl, B, F)

ISOTOPES
Isotopes are atoms of the same element with the same number of protons, yet with the different numbers of neutrons. (e.g. hydrogen)

(Paiseh. I'm pretty confused about isotopes myself. But maybe you understand? If you do, please explain thx. But I'm 99% sure the information here is correct.)

Why? Nucleon number is the sum of protons and neutrons. Therefore, different number of neutrons will give a different nucleon number.

Hi ppl. its ur CLC rep here. LiLaoShi just called me to inform me some very important information. pls read carefully.

Firstly, you will need t hand in ur CLC SIA on the day of presentation itself, which is next monday. no need to hand in seperately. just hand in after ur presentation.
Secondly, when u r doing ur powerpoint slides, DO NOT WRITE IN ESSAY FORMAT. WRITE IN POINT FORM. and LiLaoShi said tt she will mark ur presentation according to point form, whether ur explanation is detailed enough, why u choose to use this theme, why pick those 5 compo...etc.
Thirdly, the creativity of the CLC SIA takes mrks.pls do it well and not just get it down and thats it. spent some time to do it.
Then, remember to ask LiLAoShi anythingtt u r not sure abt when sch starts...dont wait until the last minute and then ask her. she dont like tt. oh,btw, some ppl havent get ur CLC SIA yet right, dont worry, cause lilaoshi is sill marking ur SIAs, and she spent like damn lot fo time doing it cause we are damn lan. and anw, do make her effort pay off by doing a good job.
Ppl like me, i also havent get my SIA yet..dont WORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!dont panic..

First of all,
I am sure many of you might have already recieved Mdm Lee phone call on travel forms and stuff like that.
So here are some stuff to note:

1)Do go to LMS and look at the letter addressed to parents
and also print out the travel form to be submitted on the day where school reopens.

2)Thermometers-Tempreture taking will still be going on.So do make sure that your thermometer is still working and is clean.(lol) Do bring them along to school.

3) Library books-Those who borrowed books from the library before the holidays, reminder that the book are dure on 29thJune,Monday.Which is the day school reopens :( so do bring
your books to school or risk your money.

4)History MindMap Assignment is due on 29thJune Monday(school reopens) So do bring them along. Don't forget.

5)Youth Day Fun Fair is POSTPONED , so those buying food/drinks,don't buy them yet until further notice.

6)If you are ill,don't come to school,or your parents will have to take you home :( Don't want to trouble them.

Anyway, I wanted to thank one eleven for your support. Well, some of 111. Cos' you know that day, when I was almost undeachiever, it's like, you guys care about it as much as I did, and maybe even more. So thank you 111. :)

And er... WHY MR LIM LEAVING? Who do you think our co-form would be? Do you remember that Mdm Lee said that we had to have a 2 to 1 "interview"? Like, the form teacher and COFORM would ask you questions to know more about you? I think she said that. And what if our co-form is someone we hate?! I'm scared!

Mr Lim is a great teacher lah. He's so funny and unmanly. And like, he never scolds us at all. Haiz. Let's make a hugehuge card for him to thank him for whatever he did for us lah!

Haha holidays are coming soon. Are you all excited? I don't know I don't think there's much of a difference anyway, since we have to come back to school so many times.

Oh what else.... I can't wait for our home econs class to start! I hope we do more practical than theory. As in more actaul hands on than the teacher just going on and on and on about kitchen safety or whatever.

How was sports meet today? I found it chaotic. Haha. It was so crowded with twitheads walking about with Milo and spilling it on peoples' bags or skirts.

Haha. It was fun walking to Milo truck with Hua Yi and Joey Seah xD although I don't know how it was fun but it felt fun. LMAO.
